Qual defense slides & recording

Many thanks to everyone who attended, wanted to attend, or wished me luck on my qual defense this morning! For those who would like them, here are links to slides and an audio recording:

The presentation was about 50 minutes, and there was about an hour (!) of questioning afterward. The faculty have a week to submit feedback to my advisor, so I won't know until then the number/size of changes that need to be made before I can move on to the next stage of the program. But it's very relieving to have finished the defense.
